This is how it could work with vjoon K4 6.0
Mark is a motor sports journalist at a major magazine publishing house. He takes a camera team out on an assignment to put a new sports car through its paces on the Nürburgring. After burning plenty of rubber over 12 laps, he has taken a pit-stop to interview the head mechanic. Mark is pressed for time; he has another important appointment. So he starts on his story right there, using the K4 Web Editor to load text straight into the publishing system back at the office. In the same workflow, he forwards his half-finished article to his print editor.
Use content across media
The editor finds that the story would make a perfect teaser for the magazine’s online forum and decides to use it to promote the upcoming issue. So he splits up the workflow for the half-finished article, with one task for the print issue and another for the online article. Mark’s colleague Helen writes the online article, condensing the story to a teaser. Accompanied by a few pictures that Mark has uploaded to the system using K4 Web Importer, the article is then posted online to announce and advertise the new issue. The article could also be delivered to cell phones, for example, by a mobile ticker. In this case, the editor could again split up the workflow and revise the article. Best of all, the system maintains the relationship between these articles so all changes that have been or will be made to each version are documented and available to the various writers and editors downstream.
