Founded in 1979, "Square" is a graphic production company based in Lyon (France) which is specialized in multilingual packaging and catalogues. Square CEO Roland Donzelle has chosen vjoon K4 to simplify collaboration with his customers, many of them well-known brands or providers such as: Bledina Danone, Coleman Campingaz, Sanofi Pasteur, Boiron, L'Oréal, Hitachi.
Working most of the time with remote editors and translators, Roland Donzelle was keen to find a web-based real collaborative solution, which would save him time in production. Being convinced of Adobe's products, Square switched its graphic production to InDesign right at AdobeInDesign 2.0 Version. Roland Donzelle was also immediately interested in Adobe InCopy, when it was first released.
Having worked on Adobe Software from early on, Square had installed vjoon K4 immediatly when it had developed its Web Editor. The french integrator Ad Hoc Graphic installed vjoon K4 and helped Square start remote work with its customers. "We chose Ad Hoc Graphic for its expertise in the press market, which is high demanding", says Roland Donzelle. As a member of the Ghent PDF Workgroup, who helped to improve PDF certification dedicated to packaging, Roland Donzelle has proved his good sense for trends.
