“Condé Nast's volume purchase of vjoon K4 with InDesign and InCopy is a major milestone in digital magazine production. Their choice makes vjoon K4 with InDesign a recognized force in editorial workflow management.”
Dennis McGuire, CEO and president of MEI
Condé Nast Publications (New York), one of the largest magazine publishers in the U.S., has purchased vjoon K4 servers and end user licenses for all of its magazine properties, including Fairchild Publications and the Golf Digest companies. A successful installation of K4 at Condé Nast Traveler prompted Condé Nast's decision to implement the system at its 27 publications, which include Vogue, Wired, Vanity Fair, Glamour, and Women's Wear Daily. The additional K4 installations will support nearly 1,200 users.
The publishing solution and its integration with Adobe InDesign and InCopy replaced the Quark Publishing Systems and QuarkXPress as Condé Nast's new standard in editorial and design workflow for all its magazines. vjoon K4 was sold by Managing Editor, Inc. (MEI), vjoon's exclusive K4 distributor in the Americas.
