IFRA Expo in Amsterdam

In late October in Amsterdam, we presented our company for the first time under the new name of vjoon to industry players. The renaming - but more importantly the new version 6 of the internationally successful K4 software sparked a spirited dialog among the 8,800 international fairgoers. K4 6.0’s ability to render publishing processes with such accuracy and clarity amazed visitors. Declaring their intentions at our booth, several key account customers said they would step up to the CS4-based system as soon as possible.

Despite attracting fewer visitors to the show in general this year, IFRA Expo 2008 was a rousing success for our integration and technology partners AD HOC, axaio, CoreMedia, GrafiData, MEI, NeoGeo, PCI, SNAP Innovation, SYSPRO Solution, Topix, and us. Our product presentation count was up by 25 percent compared to IFRA 2007. But even better: We sold our 300th K4 system with 120 workstations at the fair – and to no other than the renowned WAZ Mediengruppe.

A special attraction at the booth was our first round table discussion. The conference hosted by IFRA Research Manager Harald Löffler focused on Changes and Innovations in Professional Publishing. The participants were experts noted for their reputation in publishing such as Gary Cosimini (Adobe Systems), Bert Moerman (GrafiData), Michael Schulte (Dortmund University) and Andreas Schrader (vjoon GmbH).

At this point we would also like to take the opportunity to thank our partners who shared our booth for their team spirit and contribution the stand’s wonderful atmosphere.
