Since October we are sailing under the vjoon flag. With the change of the name we are expressing the growth and changes of our company and most important the innovations of our latest software version K4 6.0 – a preview of which we showed at IFRA Expo in Amsterdam. For one thing we have integrated rewinds and dependencies in the K4 workflow as well as the ability to split the workflow for as many output channels as desired. These achievements stress our position as one of the leading editorial solutions available. Also with our task-based workflow we have evolved past old-fashioned, long-winded workflows towards an intuitive understanding of tasks. With the genius simplicity of our workflow solution we have taken the deciding step towards the market’s need of simple and modern publishing solutions.
Under the pressure of costs and competition media houses are extensively changing their structures and processes towards more efficiency, and intend to publish their information over many media channels. We were one of the first providers of publishing solutions to recognize and implement the necessary changes. Our strategy seems to pay off as we get not only a lot of interest from media houses and Corporate Publishers that have visited our booth at IFRA Expo but have even won new customers. Looking back we see that we have had a very successful year 2008. Also we are convinced that we establish our K4 customers with a software that equips them well for years to come.
