Energy Net GmbH’s VISIT Is a Big Success
This year‘s Visit, an in-house fair staged by vjoon’s integration partner Energy Net, attracted more than one hundred visitors to Frankfurt’s English Theater on March 10. The audience came to learn more about the software and hardware solutions offered by the system vendor and eleven co-exhibitors. Delighted with the event’s success, general manager Oliver Wilhelmi noted, “We put on quite a fair with our partners, and presented to our customers and prospects solutions to satisfy all publishing demands. Visitors were particularly impressed with our comprehensive offering of hosted solutions that include K4.“
A system provider and integrator, Energy Net offers solutions and services in the areas of publishing, server and storage technology, data networks, and Web systems. Holger Kraemer, head of business development at vjoon, and Jörg Schollmayer, project manager with Energy Net, presented the current version 6.1 of the Cross-Media Publishing Platform K4 in a 45-minute software demo. “Visitors really liked our concept of managing all contents, regardless of the output channel, in K4,“ says Holger Kraemer. “It is great for doing things like mapping Web-first workflows. Editors can work and collaborate on a story for the Web site right there in K4, and may even add more pictures and videos. What’s more, it takes just a few mouse-clicks to transform such a story into a printed article.“
