View, Create, and Edit Notes with the new SoftCare K4 Web Editor 2.3

The 5.9.1 release of K4 offers a brand new feature: K4 Web Editor 2.3 now supports Adobe‘s notes function. K4 Web Editor is a web-based application for editors, production editors, and production managers who are able to access their publishing house‘s K4 publishing system online from their homes or an Internet café in any corner of the world in order to write and edit their articles without the need for Adobe Creative Suite. From now on, they can also add inline annotations to K4 articles in the same manner as K4Layout and K4Edit users do with Adobe InDesign and Adobe InCopy. Additional new features of the K4 Web Editor 2.3: Using the Preview you can create PDF files; furthermore, access to the Web Editor is now assigned as an individual user right via K4 Admin.
With the SoftCare K4 5.9.1 release you can also set up two new access rights with K4 Admin: access to the K4 Web Importer as well as the permission to export objects and issues from K4.
