US Newspaper Christian Science Monitor implements SoftCare K4
April 24, 2007
Christian Science Monitor, the Boston-based source for national and international news and commentary since 1908, has purchased a 75-seat installation of publishing system SoftCare K4 for its newsroom. Editors at the Monitor are using the new publishing system based on Adobe InDesign to produce the print edition of the century-old paper as well as to package content for its Web site, www.csmonitor.com. MEI is the exclusive distributor of K4 in the Americas and is in charge of installing the system.
“MEI has been tremendous and has positioned the Monitor, from a technical perspective, in the best possible position for growth and innovation,” said Christian Science Monitor CIO Curt Edge. “K4 is incredible. It provides the extensibility and power to keep us moving forward.”
