April 2, 2008

Growth through crossmedia strategies – the key players of the international publishing industry are to meet again in Hamburg from April 8th till 9th at the "Zukunft Print" (german for Future Print) from the Conference Company EUROFORUM. Main topic will be the digitalization of the publishing market as well as strategies for economic succes for print publishing houses. Without question, SoftCare as the leading provider of the multimedia publishing solution K4 will be part of the show as well.

In workshops and speeches high professionals such as Laurence Mehl, CEO for Verlagsgruppe Handelsblatt GmbH, give insider information, how their publishing houses are fulfilling to forward-looking digital standards. Mehl is talking about how the "metamorphosis of a print publisher into a media company" went. On top of that interested visitors of the conference can discuss how their publishing houses can technically live up to crossmedia publishing demands with SoftCare and its sales partner SNAP Innovation. Many future-oriented publishers already use SoftCare K4 for crossmedia publishing, for example BusinessWeek or Hubert Burda Media.

"Zukunft Print" is taking place in Hamburg for the third year in a row. SoftCare will be part of the convention for the second time. The list of participants sounds like the Who'sWho of the publishing industry: At the show are Laurence Mehl, CEO for Verlagsgruppe Handelsblatt, Marcus Arthur, Managing Director Magazines (London) & Digital Delivery bei BBC Worldwide Ltd, Reinhold G.
