Reducing production costs using K4
March 31, 2009

World of Print magazine published a K4 case study at another catalog publisher. Esselte Leitz GmbH & Co KG, one of the world‘s leading global office supplies manufacturer, saves up to 80 percent of its catalog production costs for external staff and composition thanks to their new editorial solution based on ModeS and K4. Ever since February 2008 Esselte uses K4 at seven workstations in an integrated K4- and ModeS-based production solution, that has proven efficiency during the production of five different catalogs already. Esselte‘s product catalogs are published bi-yearly in 23 countries worldwide with a coverage from 5,000 up to 50,000 copies each. Earlier this month the American Omega Institute for Holistic Studies had announced how it has streamlined the production of its course catalog with vjoon K4.
