New Survey: Tablet Owners Use Tablet Magazines Intensively and Are Willing to Pay for Contents

Two-thirds of iPad owners read magazines on their tablet. 70 percent of users said that they read digital magazines several times a week. These are two key findings of a new survey conducted by Verband Deutscher Zeitschriftenverleger (VDZ), the umbrella organization of German magazine publishers. More than 3,350 iPad users took part in the online survey. More than 60 percent of them said that they pay for magazines per issue or on a subscription basis.
