Credit Suisse Launches “bulletin” for the iPad

The integration of vjoon K4™ with Adobe®Digital Magazine Solution facilitates fast, easy production of professional digital magazines under real-world publishing conditions.
“bulletin”, a multiple international award winning customer magazine published by the global financial services provider Credit Suisse, is now also available for the iPad. The deep integration of the Cross-media Publishing Platform vjoon K4 and Adobe Digital Magazine Solution enabled the service providing agency to deliver the iPad edition very quickly despite its sophisticated design and content. Multimedia features such as 360-degree animation, videos (within the layout or in full-screen format), remarkably diverse picture galleries, live content, hotspots (hyperlinks to websites that open without quitting the app), and the intuitive navigation system also used by the vjoon K4 customer WIRED add value and treat audiences to an experience beyond the simple pleasure of reading.

Das klingt sehr spannend! Auch @AdobeDigitalPub hat auf Twitter.com über diesen vjoon-Erfolg getweeted!
Allerdings scheint auch Konkurrent Woodwing mit seinen 'Digital Magazine Tools' auf vielversprechenden Pfaden zu wandeln. Hier finde ich v.a. die technische Zusammenarbeit mit der Open-Source-Websoftware Drupal bemerkenswert. Hat vjoon ebenfalls derartige Pläne (Drupal-Integration)?

Vielen Dank für das Lob. Adobe hat in der Vergangenheit viele bahnbrechende Standards gesetzt und daher wird vermutlich auch die Adobe DMS ein kommender Standard im Bereich digitaler Magazine. Die Integration von vjoon K4 mit der Adobe DMS bietet Kunden somit nicht nur eine exzellente Möglichkeit iPad-Ausgaben zu produzieren, sondern auch ein hohes Maß an Investitionssicherheit.
Zum Thema Drupal: vjoon K4 ist bereits bei vielen Kunden mit dem dortigen Web CMS integriert, z.B. CoreMedia, Ploon oder Typo3, um nur drei zu nennen. Grundsätzlich kann K4 relativ problemlos an jedes beliebige Web CMS angebunden werden - also auch an Drupal. Diese Anbindung haben wir übrigens im vergangenen Jahr auf unserer Roadshow gezeigt.
