With a circulation of more than 13.8 million copies and 19 million readers, ADACmotorwelt is Europe’s largest print magazine. Every month, the members’ magazine of the ADAC (Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club e.V.) offers numerous reports, tests, services, and current information about all the topics in mobile life.
Michael Ramstetter, Editor-in-Chief of ADACmotorwelt and head of the ADAC public relations department since 1998, summarizes the strategy: “We wanted to make our workflow more efficient and transparent, in order to produce in a more modern manner, and prepare our magazine for future demands, such as automated web publishing and e-paper.” Several editorial systems and the accompanying software were critically assessed and evaluated. Following a comprehensive expert examination, and a detailed cost-benefit analysis, it quickly became clear that only SoftCare K4 in conjunction with the Adobe software products were worthy of consideration for ADACmotorwelt.
