atrium (TOTAL Deutschland GmbH)

Created by employees for employees, atrium is a newspaper published by TOTAL, whose departments provide most of the articles. These texts are edited according to journalistic principles in a rather elaborate process, but without altogether sacrificing their amateur touch. The articles remain authentic with a strong reader appeal, yet live up to quite high professional standards for text, composition, and visuals.

Bosch-Zünder (Robert Bosch GmbH)

Bosch-Zünder has one of the richest traditions among German employee newspapers. A globally uniform medium, it collectively addresses some 280,000 employees at about 290 locations. A hallmark of this bimonthly newspaper is its multilingual outlook. Bosch-Zünder appears in German, English, Portuguese, Japanese, French, Chinese, Spanish, Czech, and Turkish language versions. The newspaper offers credible info on news concerning the enterprise and employee activities.

Bulletin (Credit Suisse)

Published five times a year, Bulletin is Credit Suisse‘s customer magazine. Arnold Inhalt und Form, a K4 user, has designed and realized Bulletin for ten years now. DB Welt (Deutsche Bahn AG)

DB Welt is Deutsche Bahn AG‘s newspaper for employees in Germany. Eleven issues are published annually with a 20-page jacket (the first book with 16 pages and the second book with four pages) and seven regional editions (four pages each, three of which cover topics of interest to the given region and one common page with classified ads, a free service for all readers). With this breakdown by regions, DB Welt is able to offer info of general interest to all employees as well as address the specifics of each region. DB World, an eight-page English edition, appears six times a year.

Gewürzreporter (Gewürzmüller GmbH)

It isn‘t easy producing an esthetically appealing, up-market company magazine that is all about treating meat with mixed herbs and spices. And the target audience, butchers, is not the typical magazine readership. Despite these challenges, Gewürzmüller GmbH has managed to make its Gewürzreporter customer magazine a publication unrivalled throughout the industry. The recipe for this 12-page, bimonthly medium is much the same as the secret to butchers‘ success. It entails solid craft (specialized journalists), a clever mix (trades, news, buyer‘s guide, marketing), and a refining touch (informative artworks, high-quality photographs, experts), all blended together with great love of detail.

Global Investor (Credit Suisse)

Serving as Credit Suisse‘s flagship image publication, Global Investor has won the silver medal at the international Best of Corporate Publishing competition every year since 2006. And it has been nominated again this year. The magazine offers customers expert insight, analyses, and recommendations on strategies for investing in currencies, stocks, and bonds. Published in five languages, the most recent issue focuses on developing an investment strategy.
