K4 Roadshow
vjoon toured Vienna, Hamburg, Munich, Zurich, Paris, and Frankfurt in October and November, attracting more than 380 visitors who were eager to discover Version 6 of K4. The four-member presentation crew staged several showcases to demonstrate how editors and marketing people can carry out any number of tasks in parallel and gain real-time insight into the progress of their cross-media productions. Visitors were particularly interested in learning more about the K4 Web Portal. Other hot topics included the newly extended ability to integrate spreadsheets into the K4 workflow, the Custom Terminology, and K4 Overview Advanced, which lets editors preview InDesign documents that have yet to be loaded.
IFRA Expo 2009
Together with its partners, vjoon had a good time showing K4 Version 6.1 at 2009's IFRA EXPO in Vienna. SNAP Innovation, AD HOC Graphic, be-go.at, and Topix AG were ready to show the brandnew K4 Web Portal and consulted the fairgoers on integration service. vjoon development partners were Andrä AG, axaio software GmbH, CoreMedia AG, Dalim Software GmbH, programmfabrik GmbH. Additional stand partners were Tansa Systems, Dataplan and ClassWizard.
IFRA EXPO 2008 in Amsterdam
4th International K4 User Conference 2008
More than 150 K4 Users, Distributors, Technology Partners and potential K4 customers from all over the world - Germany, USA, Russia, Malaysia, Great Britain, France, Benelux to name but a few - gathered in Hamburg, Germany's harbour to the world. They all came to see the latest K4 version and also exchange and discuss their experiences and ideas. After a live demonstration of K4 6.0 in the morning, further highlights of the conference were set by top speakers: Tim Cole, Adobe Evangelist, gave a live presentation of Adobe Creative Suite 4, that is announced for December. Christopher Rousseau, Vice President of the publishing house giant McGrawHill Companies USA, illustrated how a schoolbook production for the US market is established on more than 1000 K4 seats. Leif Skogstad, Commercial Director of Addison Corporate Marketing London, demonstrated the use of K4 in the production of business reports. After the Conference vjoon invited for dinner and cocktails at the fancy bar & restuarant east in Hamburg.
IfraExpo 2007 in Vienna
From October 8 to 11, approximately 10,600 newspaper and media experts from 87 countries visited the international fair for the newspaper industry in Vienna - the IfraExpo 2007 (www.ifraexpo.com). This year's fair was all about media convergence, and therefore the SoftCare motto “Manage any Content. Serve all Media.” aroused a great deal of interest among decision makers and managers.
3rd International K4 User Conference
On June 15 the much longed for 3rd International K4 User Conference took place in Hamburg: Approximately 130 attendees, including IT managers, managing directors and more, followed SoftCare’s invitation and shared experiences and discussed publishing trends. In addition to introducing the latest K4 release, the User Conference has also featured renowned international customers presenting how they benefit from the innovative capabilities of K4. Among the speakers were representatives of BASF from Germany, St. Galler Tagblatt (NZZ Group) from Switzerland, Hyresgästföreningen from Sweden and Le Point from France. USA-based BusinessWeek gave a deep insight into their processes and showed how they already use K4 for cross-media production. A panel discussion at the end of the conference with top-class participants discussed the future of publishing and the resulting challenges for systems and their users. At the evening event at Angie’s Nightclub, a famous lounge and dance club, the evening was perfectly rounded off with delicious food and drinks.

SoftCare K2, the new publishing solution, and K4 Web Editor 2.0 were only some of the news presented at IfraExpo 2006 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. In addition, customers and visitors could get an insight to the upcoming version of SoftCare K4 and discuss their experiences on the two-story booth.

IfraExpo 2005
On nearly 100 m2, SoftCare presented a preview of the upcoming K4 Publishing System version 5.6. Customers and visitors were able to learn more about K4, discuss their experiences and follow presentations on the two-story stand bustling with activity.
