SoftCare turns into vjoon®
In 1999, we were among the first to recognize the huge potential of Adobe InDesign and InCopy and immediately began producing plug-ins, which made us pioneers in the development of workflow solutions with InDesign. The first magazine produced with InDesign worldwide also made use of vjoon K4™ from the start.
However, the development of markets and business needs continues. Online services were added to print features, and today, everyone in the industry speaks about unified newsrooms, online first, user-generated content, integrated communication, and storytelling. We were among the first to offer a publishing system that was able to map print and online publications simultaneously. vjoon K4 has developed into a publishing platform that can control any number of output channels with flexible workflows. Thanks to our open, state-of-the-art interface standards, we can guarantee the quick integration of new technologies in the future.
vjoon stands for vision, value, and cooperation — a mission we have been following ever since our establishment. In 2008, we have reinterpreted this mission and given it a new name.
