vjoon® (formerly SoftCare) has been in the publishing business for 20 years. Today we are a leading developer of visionary publishing solutions based on the Adobe Creative Suite. Our database-driven vjoon K4® Cross-Media Publishing Platform offers media companies and corporate publishers the ideal solution for managing content of any kind and for preparing and distributing it through a variety of media channels. Our customers use vjoon K4 on a daily basis to produce newspapers, magazines, corporate reports, image brochures, packaging design, books, and much more. Additional plug-ins from vjoon are vjoon Notes Manager™ and vjoon Overset Manager™.
We rapidly integrate all Adobe innovations into our solutions and consistently develop our products to meet market needs. Our efforts are always aimed at providing the highest quality for our customers. Our systems are characterized by reliable stability in practical applications and have become an industry standard. Some 400 installations of vjoon solutions, varying in scale from 2 to 1,400 users, are utilized in media companies and corporate publishing offices worldwide.
Who we are
First there was our enthusiasm for Adobe software, followed by our vision to develop an efficient workflow system for it. Originally established in 1990 as a startup company to integrate publishing solutions and software localization, vjoon has grown into a major system provider for the publishing industry with a worldwide network and customers around the globe. Our approximately 30 dedicated integration partners in America, Australia, Europe, Asia, and Africa implement and support our system on site to assist our customers in publishing houses and editorial departments around the world. A steadily growing number of highly qualified employees are working at our headquarters in the Hamburg metropolitan region to implement innovative quality improvements into our software. From here we coordinate our partner network, training sessions and marketing efforts.
